Franchising FAQ

What are we looking for in a Franchise Partner?

Passion! We are looking for motivated, entrepreneurially minded individuals with capital to invest and passion to be a “hands-on” Franchise Partner.

How much equity (cash) is required?

Approximately $300,000 of unencumbered cash.

What is the cost of a Pür & Simple?

The turn-key cost of a restaurant is approximately $700,000 to $850,000. Other varying factors are legal requirements, construction-related costs, labour, etc.

What is the Franchise fee?

The initial Franchise fee is $35,000

What is the Royalty fee?

The Royalty fee is paid weekly and it is 5% of gross sales.

What is included in the Royalty fee?

The Royalty fee includes:

  • Use of the Pür & Simple logos and trademarks
  • Training and ongoing training & operational support
  • Consulting and sharing best practices for hygiene and food safety
  • Purchasing power with consolidated suppliers and distribution
  • Research, development and quality control

What is the Advertising contribution?

The Advertising contribution is paid weekly and it is 3% of gross sales.

Do I also have to operate the restaurant as an investor?

Pür & Simple requires one of the partners with at least 10% equity complete our training program and run the day-to-day operation of the restaurant.

Will I receive training?

Absolutely! To ensure that our franchise partners equipped to successfully operate their business, we provide:

  • Two (2) weeks of theoretical and practical training
  • Three (3) weeks of on-site training

How long does it take to open my restaurant?

It can take approximately 12-20 weeks to be ready to serve guests once we have secured a qualified location.
